This is a path in an old woodlot that was once part of an agricultural college in my village. One winter my partner and I walked this path and I took a photo with my cellphone. I then remembered the path as straight because my photo showed that it was straight. Come spring I discover that the path is curved. So this image is the constructed memory of this path, The still image superimposed to create a straight path.
The image was created with one etched plate.
This print edition was created by inking the plate like a normal etching and then rolling over the entire plate with a glaze that was coloured in the middle. (The glaze was a mix of ink and transparent printing medium). It was featured and sold in France in an international exhibition of printmaking in 2025.
